The Small Commandant’s Corridor leads to the Commandant’s Entrance that is located in the southern façade of the Winter Palace, on the side of Palace Square. The entrance got its name from the rooms of the commandant of the imperial residence that were situated on the ground floor here.
The corridor is adorned with 19th-century Western European sculpture and decorative vases made from semiprecious stones.
Visible at the end is the Commandant’s Cloakroom that serves organized groups.
